As a seasoned change leader, strategist, evaluator, and design thinker, I have 20+ years of demonstrated success helping business teams increase their capacity for continuous learning, problem solving, defining and delivering meaningful impact, and fostering inclusion. The key to that success has been helping the individuals on those teams – individuals of diverse backgrounds, contexts, and perspectives – define their vision and motivation for change, then supporting their journey to achieve it. I've designed the Vision Set Launch program based on that experience and my personal desire to help others achieve meaningful change in their personal and professional lives.
My approach to vision setting and path finding is both human-centered and interdisciplinary. For me, designing pathways to individual success is about personalizing the journey to goal achievement. I facilitate this process by bringing together a mix of frameworks for vision setting, problem solving, goal achievement and reflection in ways that are personalized to the needs of each person I serve.
The practices and principles that form the foundation of Vision Set Launch are rooted in my journey as a lifelong learner and interdisciplinary practitioner. Along this journey I’ve earned certification in product management and dual master's degrees in social service and law and social policy from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. I am a licensed social worker and use human-centered and culturally responsive approaches to problem solving in alignment with the profession's core values of service, social justice, dignity and worth of the person, importance of human relationships, integrity, and competence. Holding certificates in change leadership, strategy, program evaluation, and human-centered design, my toolkit and training spans a growing list of disciplines.
When not helping individuals explore and realize their goals for change, you'll find me walking, biking, or running on a trail, kayaking in a scenic lake or creek, relaxing with a cup of coffee/tea and a good book, or simply enjoying time with my wife.
